Civic education tools

A public decision, practiced before the meeting.

Civic education tools for cities, ministries, NGOs and classrooms. People make a choice inside a constraint. The climate exercise on this site is a delayed system they can steer. It is not a carbon model and not a forecast of your city.

Who it is for

Public programs that need a trade-off felt.

A budget, a delay, a shared resource, a local rule. Residents, staff or a class practice the decision. We do not publish client outcomes, and the exercise does not speak for your institution.

Typical project

What a first project looks like

A starting shape, not a rate card. Scope, languages, hosting and support are set from the brief. We do not publish prices or a response-time promise.

Best-fit client

A city, ministry, NGO or classroom that needs a civic or climate trade-off practiced.

What you supply

  • The decision residents or learners face
  • The constraint
  • What the exercise must not claim

What you receive

  • A short browser exercise with the constraint left intact
  • A facilitator note
  • If the subject is a delay, a pointer to the climate toy, which is not a carbon model

Pilot

One public workshop or one classroom, then a revision.

How you know it worked

Participants can name the trade-off they chose and the constraint that forced it.

What we ask on the scoping call

  1. Which public decision should people practice?
  2. What must the exercise refuse to forecast?
  3. Who is in the room, and who facilitates?
  4. Is this a civic scene, or the existing climate toy used as a pattern?

What a project includes

  • A short browser exercise built from the decision your audience actually faces.
  • The constraint left intact, including what the session must refuse to estimate.
  • A facilitator note on what the choice is meant to reveal.
  • A pointer to the climate toy when the subject is a delayed environmental system.

What it is not

  • A forecast, a poll or a carbon-accounting model.
  • A published client result. This page is the offer and the method.
  • Regulated advice, financial or otherwise.
  • A phone build. It runs in a desktop or laptop browser.
Before you brief us

Questions public programs ask first

Is the climate toy a civic education tool?

It is a worked example of a delayed system. Cities and classrooms can use that pattern. It does not estimate emissions and it is not a model of your city.

Do you publish civic clients?

No. There is no client list and no outcome figure on this page.

What should we send?

The decision, the constraint, who is in the room, and what the exercise must not claim. A finished game idea is not required.

Can this ship in more than English and German?

Yes, when translation and review are in the scope. The public website itself is English and German.
