Clarity over complexity
We remove jargon first, then add depth. Every experience starts with something you can see and follow.
How can we make something difficult easier to understand, experience, and remember? The studio’s work spans research translation, neuroinclusive learning, climate education, game-based training for teams, learning platforms, and AI-assisted assessment.

WissenFlow is based in Dresden. We design educational games and interactive experiences for schools, universities, banks, companies, and public programs. The method comes from cognitive science: people grasp abstract ideas more naturally when those ideas are tied to something concrete, then explored by making choices.
Map the abstract structure onto a familiar scene, such as water, ice, or an ecosystem, so the logic is something you can picture.
The metaphor has to keep the real cause and effect. Otherwise it is decoration, and people cannot reason with it.
People choose, see what happens, and adjust. Observation becomes a mental model they can reuse.
The vocabulary arrives once the experience is already there. That is the metaphor map in FinBild, and the structured card in FinAI.
The company is rooted in the PhD work of one of our founders at a German university: cognitive science, multimedia learning, and applied design, studied over eight years. That work received the Bundesbank Award, the DAAD Award, and support through an EXIST startup grant. TU Dresden is our research home.
Awards we received. Data we measured. Nothing invented.
We remove jargon first, then add depth. Every experience starts with something you can see and follow.
Visual metaphors and grounded scenarios come first. Labels and theory arrive when the mental model is already in place.
When we use AI, it narrates real engine output. When we teach through play, metaphors preserve the underlying logic, we do not fabricate understanding.
Understanding should not require credentials or intimidating language. Anyone should be able to explore complex ideas with lasting impact.
Not one industry. The format follows the learning problem, from a single experience to the platform it lives on.
Turn a complex topic or idea into an intuitive, engaging digital learning experience: concept visualization, learning journeys, storytelling, and visual metaphors.
Let learners explore concepts through decisions, experimentation, and play: custom educational games, simulations, and scenario-based learning in the browser.
Custom digital environments for institutions, learners, and administrators: institutional login, user roles, dashboards, content management, and SSO.
Understand learning through intelligent assessment, feedback, and behavioral data: adaptive assessment, competency analysis, and progress tracking.
